Rose Shaped Pistachios Baklava
Floral rolled baklava with pistachios, buttery phyllo, and a fragrant syrup finish.
Ingredients
- 25 sheets baklava phyllo dough (cut in half)
- 5 cups finely chopped pistachios
- 3 cups simple syrup
- 2 cups melted
- unsalted butter

Cut the phyllo sheets in half.

Butter one sheet at a time.

Add a tablespoon of pistachio filling onto the buttered sheet fold.

Arrange the filled sheets on a buttered round baking pan.

Brush melted butter over the tops.

Bake at 325F for about 15 minutes.

Immediately pour simple syrup over the hot baklava.
